Here is a friendly message to both Admins and Players regarding the rules.

General Rules
Be respectful to other players and staff members.
Do not request videos that constantly get skipped.
Absolutely NO trolling. (this includes in the form of video)
No spamming chat. (This includes telling people to skip)
Anti-AFKing will result in a ban.
This is your ONLY warning, requesting any of the type of videos below WILL get you a ban.
Ban worthy videos

Exams/Surgery
Any trolling videos. (rickroll, trololo, etc)
Any type of pornography. (strip tease, kissing, hentai, etc)
Animal abuse.
Shock videos. (meatspin, 2girls1cup)
Any video that is designed to hurt eyes/ears.

For over a year now I have seen arguments from players saying that they should be unbanned because what they did was not in the rules. Tbh, these rules are the most vague rules I have seen on a server this size. However, they are a great set of rules to shape a community that we used to have when our server was smaller. Even though people say these rules won't work for a server this size, I believe that is absolutely false. If you got banned because of a vague rule, then we shouldn't be hearing any excuses, a rule's a rule. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

As for the Admins, you guys are not supposed to permaban players, that is a job for Nextek or me. Players are people too, you should not be killing them without first giving them a second chance. Please please please do not go on a powertrip and ban players without thinking about the punishment, one of your responsibilities is to make a decision as to how long a ban should be and it should not be excessive. Most punishments are enough to make anyone stop, if they don't stop, then make the ban longer.

As for arguments with our staff, this should never happen at all and I mainly fault the admin for letting it happen. Admins are not supposed to let their personal opinion or feelings affect their decisions because that only leads to a big ol' mess that someone else has to clean up. Complaints should not be taken as a personal offense, they should be taken as something you can learn from. Complaints with personal insult however should be ignored and thrown in the garbage can, do not engage with a flamer. Of course, this should be all obvious with the rule "Be respectful to other players and staff members."

Donate system is now completely automated.


To help with error handling -
(people entering bad steamid's / wrong steamid)

the donate page now only accepts steam ids formatted correctly, any other format will be rejected.

The donate page now checks the entered steamid against the theater database, if that steam has never been used on the server it rejects it.

If it satisfies the 2 above conditions the page shows a confirmation, with the steam-info bar of the player connected to that steamid, and asks the user to verify if this is them.


With all of this donations should now process within minutes, rather than the hours to days it normally took doing them manually.
